Spectralbot is committed to protect your privacy. This privacy statement provides more information about the personal data that Spectralbot processes when using our application (the “Application”), why Spectralbot processes it, how Spectralbot obtains this data, how long Spectralbot retains this data and whom Spectralbot shares it with. It also provides more information on how you can exercise your rights.

What personal data does Spectralbot process, and why?

Spectralbot collects the following type of data when you use or information:

(i) personal information such as you name, e-mail address, and other contact details when you provide them voluntarily;
(ii) technical information such as information about your device, including but not limited to your device’s unique identifiers, IP address, operating system, and browser type;
(iii) technical information about your system(s), being a collection of interconnected and/or interoperating devices, including but not limited to the device’s unique identifiers, IP address, serial number, MAC address, product type and connections with other devices in the system;
(iv) usage information such as information on how you use the Application of Spectralbot, including the features you access and the actions you take;

Spectralbot uses the data it collects for the following purposes:

(i) application functionality: to provide you with access to and use of the Applications functionality;
(ii) communication: to communicate with you, to respond to your inquiries and send you important updates and notifications and notifications related to the Application;
(iii) analytics: to analyse and improve the performance, functionality and usability of the Application;
(iv) legal compliance: to comply with legal obligations and enforce Spectralbot’s license terms.

Who has access to your personal data?

Only a limited number of people, such as the staff of Spectralbot, have access to your personal data. In order to guarantee the protection of your personal data, they are subject to a range of (contractual) obligations.

Spectralbot does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Spectralbot may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist Spectralbot in delivering and improving the Application. These service providers are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

If one of these service providers is based outside the European Economic Area, Spectralbot will only pass on your personal data if an adequate level of protection is provided, and the service provider offers sufficient guarantees regarding the security and protection of the personal data.

Finally, Spectralbot will not make your personal data available to third parties for commercial and/or advertising purposes, unless you have given Spectralbot your explicit permission to do so.

How long does Spectralbot retain your personal data?

Spectralbot only retains your personal data for as long as is required in order to comply with its legal obligations, to provide its services correctly, or because it has a legitimate interest in retaining your personal data.

Safety precautions

Spectralbot has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality of your personal data and to protect your data from accidental and unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, and access.

Spectralbot has made the necessary contractual arrangements with the third parties with whom it works together and will not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area without ensuring that your data is granted an equivalent level of protection there.

Your rights

The GDPR provides you with several rights regarding the processing of your data. You can, for example, at any time request:

(i) to review your personal data (right of access and inspection): you have the right to review, free of charge, your personal data, and to verify what your data is being used for;
(ii) to change your data (right of rectification): you can request to have incorrect data corrected and to complete incomplete personal data;
(iii) to have your data deleted (right of erasure): if you suspect that Spectralbot is unlawfully processing some of your personal details, you can request that this personal data is deleted. Spectralbot may refuse this request if the personal data is necessary for carrying out a legal obligation, for the implementation of the agreement, or in the context of a legitimate interest;
(iv) to have your data transferred (right of portability): you have the right to request that the personal data that you yourself have provided is transferred to you or directly to a third party.

In the circumstances and under the conditions stipulated in the GDPR, you also have the right to:
(v) request that the processing of your data is restricted (restriction of the processing);
(vi) express an objection to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interest (right of objection). Spectralbot would like to point out that it is not possible to object to the processing of personal data that is necessary for Spectralbot to carry out one of its legal obligations, or for the implementation of its contracts or its legitimate interest.

Furthermore, you can withdraw your consent at any time if the processing is based on your prior permission. If you choose not to provide certain information, this may limit your ability to use certain features of our Application.

In order to respond correctly to your request, Spectralbot asks you to be as specific as possible when submitting your request. In addition, Spectralbot asks you to attach a copy of the front and back of your identity card to each request.
